My partner and I have come up with this great logo/graphic for Diva Baby Boomers. And we are taking orders right now for teeshirts. We are going to be offering more items as we roll out. We are testing the waters and we are really excited about this venture.
We have known one another for nineteen (19) years and we have become very good friends. It all kind of started with me turning (50) fifty in April 08. That got the ball rolling and here we are. ArticlesWell everyone is going to be playing “April Fools Day” today so be on your guard. I know that we all want to play a “April Fools” on someone 1st before they catch us. From what I am reading no one really knows exactly why we celebrate this day as “April Fools Day”.
They say that it appeared in Europe during the late Middle Ages. All I know is that the reason why we do not know exactly how it came to be is there were not good recordkeeping back in those days. Well all I want to say is enjoy your “April Fools Day.”
Let’s see who will be playing the joke on you today.
One of my dearest online buddies recently contacted me and told me she was ready to do her colon cleanse program. Servings: 1
Ingredients:
1 cup skim milk or yogurt
2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
1/4 cup pasteurized egg whites (or egg substitute)
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup frozen blueberries or strawberries
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon each wheat germ and ground flaxseed
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy
Today taking a bath is much more than just to relieve stress or to relax. A nice bath is about cleansing your soul, mind and body. This is how I like to relax is take a nice hot bath with my sea salts,light some candles and listen to some classical music. When I am finished I sleep so peaceful. My yoga instructor always tells me after our Yomar Fusion boot camp to soak in a bath with sea salts. And it works everytime for me.
A lot of the time I am too busy for a bath and I take showers. When the opportunity presents itself that I can take a bath I do. There are so many things out here today to pour into the tub. We have so many to choose from. Here are some of my favorites. Since I am into essential oils these are some I would recommend.
Relax - rose, lavendar, ylang-ylang, vanilla
Invigorate - grapefuit, rosemary, lemon
Calm - chamonile, sage, lavendar, neroli
The aroma of essential oils transform a bath into a perfect bath. And you can create your own blends by mixing a few drops into still water. And the scent will rise with the steam. Here is what the Young Living Essential Oil desk reference has to say regarding baths. When adding essential oils to bath water it is challenging because oil does not mix with water. For even dispersion, mix 5-10 drops of essential oil in 1/4 cup of Epsom sales or bath gel base and then add this mixture under a running faucet. This method will help the oils disperse in the bath evenly and prevent stronger oils from stinging sensitive areas.
